L’alliance Rethink Plastic s’est réunie devant la Commission de l’UE afin de remettre la pétition à Frans Timmermans, vice-président de la Commission de l’UE. Près de 600 000 signatures ont été collectées. À cette occasion les ONG ont sensibilisé les députés européens.
